Faith Formation
What is Faith Formation?
Faith Formation, formally known as Religious Education or CCD, promotes lifelong knowledge of the faith by developing a deep relationship with God through catechesis, prayer, community life, and acts of justice and mercy. It involves educating the mind and heart in faith, fostering spiritual growth, building community within the parish, and engaging in works of love and service for others. It encourages us to live our lives as disciples of Christ.
Children and Families: We can help our young disciples grow in understanding, prayer, and love of Christ. Through age-appropriate lessons, hands-on activities, and community experiences, children learn the foundations of the Catholic faith while encountering God’s love in meaningful ways.
Youth Ministry: These programs aim to combine faith formation with service, friendship, and real conversations about the world young people navigate today. Through gatherings, retreats, and parish involvement, youth discover how to live their faith boldly and authentically.
Young Adult/Adult Formation: We offer opportunities for continued growth through Scripture studies, seasonal programs, small faith-sharing groups, retreats, and topical series rooted in Catholic teachings and traditions.
